RADIO ART
An important and very active part of my practice is focused on the transmission of sound data in free and open source formats. This has led me to produce a large amount of content and commissions for radio, podcasts, playlists, interviews, soundwalks, soundscape monitoring and various real-time transmissions with the intention of sharing experiences, ideas, debates, and above all, reaching to the community with content related to sound art and the appreciation and conservation of the soundscape.

THE LISTENING CLUB
While in Palestine in the spring of 2025 as a resident at Radio Alhara, I started a new program called "The Listening Club," which was broadcast live weekly every Thursday from Bethlehem during my stay in Palestine. The program now continues monthly with the same focus: LISTENING!
You can listen to it on the last Thursdays of each month at https://www.radioalhara.net/
The Listening Club._ Episode 03: Rayyan & Bara’a: YOUTH
Sonic Liberation Front
Venezuela/Palestina
Something I had wanted to do since I became part of the Radio Alhara family, was to make a program in tribute to my country and its struggle of the last decades, looking for change, peace, freedom and prosperity.
Broadcasted live on Radio Alhara from Wonder Cabinet in Bethlehem, Palestine on 30 April 2025.
This program is really important for me, so I made a dedicated project page with a detailed description and where you can listen to the full episode.

FIELD RECORDINGS
The interest in field recordings in my practice is not related to an archival or personal library approach, but instead focuses on a deeper understanding of our sonic environment, especially that related to nature and its wildlife.
Some of these files ends up totally transformed in my compositional pieces and some are used for sound installations, but in the last couple of years these recordings are intended for Bioacoustics means.
The intention is to transmit and share these files and data to monitor the changes that are happening in our environment and its soundscape, as well as the environmental problems that we are facing right now.
This makes it more necessary than ever to open new ways of sharing culture, knowledge, ideas and community action. For me, as a sound artist and explorer of acoustics, we are living in a crucial moment in which we need to listen carefully to the soundscape around us in order to develop a better relationship with it and as a tool to create a deeper connection with our environment, which unfortunately it is affected by pollution, noise, overpopulation, and climate change...
PODCAST
I´ve started a PODCAST called “IN THE FIELD” with the intention of sharing some of my field recordings.
The podcast started in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown in my hometown (Barcelona, Spain) since I noticed that sound of the city dramatically changed and become more “quieter” during that period, so I decided to record a sound diary of the experience with daily field recordings from my studio in the Sierra de Collserola Natural Park.
The Podcast has allowed me to actively share my field recording activity, and with it, connect with a large and vast community around the world.
*This podcast started on a site called Anchor, and has been migrated to Open Spotify.... (since I don't use this streaming platform, I will be switching to another podcast service soon).

This episode was recorded during the feminist march of 8M (March) - International Women's Day. Recorded in the center of Barcelona in the Plaza Universitat. In this audio you can hear many chants, ambient sounds from the crowd, marches, dances, drum sounds, slogans, and it ends with a very beautiful song sung a cappella.

Since the start of this quarantine the sound of the city have dramatically changed and become more “quieter”.
