The idea with this project is to elevate and expand my listening perspective and broaden my perceptual notion of the world by being able to raise the microphone and record in higher positions.

I wanted to have the microphone closer to the trees to capture its sonic life and bird activity in detail.

For this project I used a custom made 10m long omnidirectional CC1 microphone specially made by Circular Sound Art (image 01) placed in a balloon with helium and directly with XLR to the Zoom F6 recorder.
