This piece was made for the event "24 Hours, a line in the City" a day long of actions made at the same time in Barcelona, Quilmes and Medellín.

My idea was to intervene in an abandoned lot in the Born neighborhood of Barcelona. The feature that caught my attention was that this lot was full of grass raised from the height of the street, as if it were a small stadium. Therefore, I decided to convert it into an open grass tennis court.

I was interested in generating a debate about the use and exploitation of public space in a playful and participatory way, and thereby suggesting the great possibilities of abandoned spaces and lots to be used by neighbors and citizens with activities and temporary community and participatory occupation.

Thus, beforehand, I invited some friends, artists and acquaintances to the tournament, with the aim that that day, the space and the neighbors would wake up with the tournament underway, and that this would encourage them to participate.

The court was built very early in the morning, laying the lines of the court, the net (all specially made and custom-made) and even a podium with the referee's chair.

We even had ball boys!.

Participation was very high and it was held in the form of a tournament, so the winners advanced to the next round and played more than one game.
